About Me.“My dream job is to travel around the world.” says many millennial these days. The stories we see and hear about the beauty of this world through media lures our young souls. I was born with a mother and father who took those dreams a chance. I am a Korean American who was born in Asuncion, Paraguay. Couple years after my birth I went back to my parent’s homeland in Seoul, South Korea. Spending time with my grandparents and cousins receiving family love as a baby. At age 5, my parents decided to jump again and my parents, little sister, and I left everything to start our journey in Sao Paulo, Brazil. There I started elementary and it was my real first experience to be touched by the rich history and culture that Brazil had to offer. At age 9 my parents divorced, and my sister and I was adopted by my biological aunt and her American husband in the U.S.A. I learned to adjust again and grew up with a great family. At age 20, I decided to join the U.S. Navy and served the country for 4 years while getting a chance to live in Japan for 1 year. I left the Navy after my first contract to further my education and thus applied to ASU fall of 2017. Now, I am 27 years old and a senior at ASU. All in all, my background taught me to view the world differently and openly.
